ENGINE / TRANSAXLE the block is a 351 high eutectic content cast iron unit from Australia. It had new liners installed and was bored and stroked to 408 cu. in. .All components in the engine are new and the valve train is a roller rocker hydraulic setup so no valve adjustments are needed.Brodix racing aluminum cylinder heads are installed.Custom throttle bodies for the fuel injection are from Pantera Performance in Castle Rock Colorado. In order to fit the engine under the stock forward engine cover a standard intake manifold could not be used therefore the valve covers, throttle bodies and Brodix heads were shipped to Brogans Racing Manifolds in California where a beautiful 8 stack Weber lookalike aluminum manifold was fabricated. When the deck lid is closed the car appears stock and there was no need to cut the deck lid as in the case for the 8 stack Weber carburetors. The throttle linkage / throttle body/intake manifold/fuel injectors/MAP/ K&N air filters system function perfectly. The controller for the fuel injection/ ignition advance is a Haltech unit with wiring harnesses and a 6000 RPM limiter is installed A Bosch ignitor is used with an MSD distributor in the ignition advance system. The headers are custom designed units ceramic coated and connected to a stainless steel resonator system in the exhaust. The starter and alternator are by PowerMaster, and A/C compressor are top of the line units. All peripheral plumbing are steel braided hose with Earl's AN (army- navy)fittings. A custom efficient crankcase scavenger system is used. The fuel tank was reconditioned ,and the fuel pump ,filter and pressure regulator are top of the line units. A polished aluminum panel shields the fuel tank and a polished aluminum panel is attached to the bulkhead. An Accusump engine pre-oiling system with oil pressure gauge is installed.New performance 10 quart engine oil sump installed. The A/C lines are hidden in the passenger side wheel well. The A/C uses R12 Freon and the compressor inlet and discharge are easily accessible from underneath the car. The condenser/ fan are new stock units along with the chromed dryer. All A/C hoses were replaced with high strength units. The heater system is functional and high quality manual on/off valves for seasonal operation are used in the supply and return lines. The transaxle is the ZF- 2 5 speed which has been completely gone through, safety wired, high speed 3.08 ring and pinion installed, and completely polished. Estimated top speed of the car is 180 MPH.Halfshafts are Spicer. new engine mounts installed to keep the engine below the engine cover at the front so no part of the engine is visible with the deck lid closed for security and clean appearance.Engine estimated at 550 HP at the crank and chassis dynoed at 400 + HP.The car shifts smoothly and quickly hits the 6000 RPM limit in the first three gears on the freeway ON ramps. The car is quite streetable but really wants to be driven hard. De tomaso Pantera FOR SALE WWW.DETOMASOPANTERBROKER.COM

INTERIOR The engine has a center console reduction kit which relocates the alternator and A/C compressor so that the center console bubble is symmetric and does not protude in to the passenger seat area as in the stock configuration.. This allows the passenger seat to move fully forward and aft just as the drivers seat. The interior is based on late 90's Ferrarri F355 seats purchased new at the Ferrari dealership for $4500 each then stripped and recovered in charcoal leather with red inserts. The seats are electrically adjustable fore and aft controlled by Ferrari switches mounted on the shift console. The same design theme was used throughout with double red stitching on all adjoining leather surfaces. The center caps were fabricated by a Jeweler in Scottsdale AZ using the stock caps as a guide but with all inlaid Mother of Pearl, turquois, and black coral. They are beautifully done.
